| HOME PAGE (check this page regularly for green clean tips and links) * for information about how to get us to clean your space, what we use to clean it, products we sell and how much we charge, click on "About Us" or "Services," but in brief: IGNORANCE IS BLISS: Remaining teachable is the quickest route toward change; therefore, we at Natural Selection would like to share that which we've learned with you: Toxic chemicals are bad. Now, in all fairness to our "friends" at Clorox, bleach does have a place (and it's not in your washing machine to make your whites whiter, Mrs. Brady -- by the way, a 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide left to soak with clothes works better). Bleach, when used responsibly, moderately and rarely, can be effective (like to stop black fuzzy mold from climbing upstairs from the basement --although, you may want to perform some preventative measures, such as installing a French drain outside or fixing your downspouts). Moderation, moderation, moderation. This is a good mantra to live by, I mean, even too much lavender oil and baking soda would be gross, but we digress. BE GREEN: We at Natural Selection are proud to be part of the old Steel town (that's Pittsburgh, for those on the out of where's coolest in the country to live), as it is a leader in green building construction. We are excited to make it a leader in green cleaning, too. That means team work. Yeah, you, on the couch with a can of berry-scented Lysol in your hand, check out the links below to learn more about being green: |

She nourishes us; that which we put into the ground she returns to us." -Big Thunder (Bedagi) Algonquin Indian tribe. |
